A Progressive Future
Progressive Meal in the Shops
and Children's Creative Workshop
Thursday, May 4, 2006
5:00 - 8:00 pm

Story City Main Street hosts A Progressive Future. Join us in the shops on May 4th and enjoy tasty samplings of soups, salads, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Over 25 businesses will be featuring something scrumptious in their shop. Evening will feature ribbon cutting for new kiosk, music from the Community Band, and perfomances of scenes from Into the Woods by Judge Strory Theatrical Troupe.

Tickets are on sale at RSVP Senior Center, F&M Bank, Wierson Furniture, The Chamber of Commerce, Randall-Story State Bank, and Story City Pharmacy. Price is $10 prior to May 4th or $15 the day of the event. Proceeds benefit the Senior Citizen's Center Building Rehab Project. Thrivent for Lutherans will provide matching funds.

While the adults are visiting the shops, we'll be keeping the children busy with pizza and crafts at the Sons of Norway. Pre-registration is required - call Kathy Wellik at 733-4517.
